Maui
Maui is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and is probably what you think about when you hear the name "Hawaii". The Road to Hana has more waterfalls than you will see anywhere else, and slowly winds along the sea cliffs high above the Pacific Ocean. Haleakala Crater (in Haleakala National Park) has a summit over 10,000 feet in elevation. When you hike into it, you'll think you're on the moon or Mars. West Maui, including Lahaina and Kihei, have beautiful beaches and resorts, but are also famous for the thousands of whales that travel there every winter. If you've never been to Hawaii before, Maui is a great place to visit.
